Bern Helmets
I’m with you on not wearing a helmet, but after a recent over the bar chin slam (10 stitches) I’m looking into one myself. So far Bern has been the best contender for what I am looking for. They come with different add-ons, such as ear warmers, for whatever weather condition.
i have one and get made fun of constantly because it looks like a horse back riding helmet…. BUT… it protects my head. so there’s no contest. get one!

Remembering THE Ben Pritchard
Three years ago tonight, one of my best freinds passed away during a 24 hour mountain bike race we were competing in. If you asked anyone that knew Ben Pritchard, they will tell you that he touched their lives in a way that no one else has come close to. I only wish I lived my life with the energy and enthusiasm that he did. I am glad to have known Ben and my life will never be the same because of it - every June 16th remember Ben Pritchard.
