Fashionbuddha Studio recently launched the site of NY photographer Horacio Salinas. The site stands out for the stunning and creative photography recently on display in the NY Photo Festival but also for the experimental design. The site takes flash programming to a new level by tweaking the order of bytes that build each image file. The bit-tweaking and re-compressing of the image happens within flash creating a dynamic effect similar to a tv tuner that needs to be adjusted badly. The glitch effect can be increased or decreased using sliders in the menu. The same technique can be used for sound however in this case the sound effects are not manipulated but sampled from a malfunctioning hard drive. (via Computerlove™ | Connecting Creative Talents.)
